According to the Kinematograph Year Book for that year, the shows were continuous with seat prices from 7d to 1/6 (3p to 13p approx). The owners were Lyceum Cinema Co. Ltd who booked their films “at Leeds”. There were 1118 seats.
In KYB 1954 seating was 1124 (an increase!). The screen was 24ft by 14ft in a 27ft proscenium. Prices were 9d to 1/6 (4p to 13p approx).
