Although Metro quite often opened films simultaneously at both their Sydney city locations (St James & Liberty), Xmas 1966 saw the availability of another (independent) venue a few doors from the Liberty which joined the mix on this one occasion. MGM would probably have preferred to continue running Zhivago over Xmas at the St James and put that darn pussy into the Ascot alone, but the Disney people probably insisted on having holiday screen time at the tried and true St James.
