On January 28, 1981, the marquee at the AMC Park Cities Two Theatres read “Dallas 1” on the left/screen 1 attraction board and “Art 0” on the right/screen 2 attraction board. The final night of this theater would bring out decent but slim crowds as AMC left its money hemorrhaging twin-screen property and an opening for the Inwood Theatre on Lovers Lane to go art full time.
