Metro Drive-In 8 Liege Street, Innaloo, WA

Located in the Woodlands section of Innaloo, to the northwest of Perth. The Metro Drive-in opened on 19th April 1957 with “High Society”. The screen was 115ft x 51ft. It had a capacity for 950 cars. The drive-in became a twin drive-in on 11th May 1984 opening with (screen 1)- “The Toy” and “Educating Rita”, and (screen 2) “Class” and “Blame it on Rio”. The car capacity was increased to 1,011. The drive-in closed in November 1993.- Notes by David Coppock
