Mystery Road has become a major economic driver for WA, delivering millions to regional communities across the state.

The ABC’s hit crime drama Mystery Road has delivered a windfall for Western Australia, with production across four seasons bringing more than $25 million into the state.

Filmed in Kununurra/Wyndham, Broome, Kalgoorlie/Coolgardie and most recently Pemberton, the franchise – made up of two original Mystery Road seasons and two instalments of Mystery Road: Origin – has returned an estimated $18.5 million directly into regional communities.
