The Fox Oakland Theatre had a huge office building surrounding the theatre. I loved ‘Edy’s’ restaurant and ice cream place to the right of the entrance to the Fox Oakland. Smelled of rich chocolate all the time. Great tuna or egg salad sandwich’s plus the best thick milkshakes. Now space used the pre ‘Fox’ bar lounge.
