Happy kids outside the Liberty Theatre, Lava St, circa 1950, where the Coles Supermarket now stands.

Thanks to Lost Warrnambool follower Jock Capuano for sending us a newspaper clipping of this shot which was used by the late Stan Stevens, owner of the Capitol Theatre, to celebrate that theatre’s 60th birthday in 1990.

Stan offered a free ticket to the Capitol to anyone who recognised themselves in this photo.
