View of the auditorium and stage from circle taken a few days before the official opening on Saturday December 14th 1929. The interior looking more as that of a Theatre than a cinema with stage boxes set either side in the splay walls, however, the stepped proscenium partly saves this opinion and the stage was used regularly for variety and pantomime.
