The Shepparton Drive-In Theatre first opened in 1957 and was the second to open in country Victoria. The first was in Bendigo.

Jack Tuckett was the drive-in caretaker from 1957-1983 and Noel Eva was the manager from 1980. Its demise was brought about by the introduction of television, then in-home videos and the popularity of discos. The final screening was on June 15, 2005. The drive-in site is now the Riverside Plaza shopping complex. Notes & photo (Lost Shepparton Collection)
