When Parsons Theatre fans in Hartford think of the building, they likely think of the 66 Prospect Street location (1896 to 1936) shown here with its original look and excised tower look prior to demolition. It was the first class legit stage play house. The namesake, however, was associated with the final eight years of an unrelated movie theater at 1087 Main Street that stood from 1912-1960.
