An original photograph taken of the front of the then Palace theatre during 1957. At this time Carroll Levis was touring with his Radio show looking for new discoveries. Left is the Palace Varieties poster of the current acts, noticeably entertainer and organist Robin Richmond on tour. At the commencement of WW2 Richmond was engaged as organist for the Paramount theatre Tottenham Court, however, the Paramount was bombed so he moved into various BBC Radio shows and still carried on with his touring with his variety shows.
