Nashville fire department vehicle parks into front of the Paramount Theater on Church Street Jan. 23, 1962, as a fire broke on the stage area and destroyed the drapes, screen and sound equipment. The 40 movie goers were watching “I Bombed Pearl Harbor” before fleeing to safety.
