Sure, you’ve seen a lot of movie palace demolitions. But the King Wrecking Company did something fairly unusual. They started demolition of Dayton’s State Theatre as the Dayton Community Theatre was still performing “Stop the World” - the theater’s swan song - in April of 1970. All the performers could say was, “Stop the world… I want to get off or out!"
