This is the ScreenX® space in Theatre #9 at the new Regal 12. They did not have a movie showing today in that process. One nice thing in this new Regal build all the stereo surround speakers are placed way hi up and aimed down so when a image is projected on the side panels at times you won’t see the speakers. Will check it out later in the week. The front main screen is not curved but blends into the screen white fabric paint on the side walls.

The ScreenX® auditorium cinema is located in Theatre #9 and seats 204. They are not showing anything in the new ScreenX® system yet but are showing regular movies this week. Saw Mortal and just the front scope screen was used. Very confusing for new people that go into Theatre #9 and see all the signage for the new SX outside and the image is just like all the rest of the screens in the new Regal 12 front image only. Lets hope they can book a true ScreenX® movie soon and just keep this cinema space for the new process. At least they did not charge the extra fee for SX. We all wonder what that extra charge will be when all three screens are fired up? What’s bad about the Regal monthly pass fee It does not include 3D, 4DX®, ScreenX® or the Regal branded RPX® auditoriums they charge extra. Too bad they just don’t have a one price deluxe pass and not add all the extra money. We don’t see at this new Regal 12 in SF a special discount fee on Tuesdays or Wednesdays for seniors like many of the other cinemas in the SF Bay area have?
