The Pantages Theatre, at the northwest corner of Seventh and Alder in downtown Portland in 1915. Seventh would later be renamed Broadway, and the Pantages would become one of Portland’s six theaters named Music Box before it was demolished in 1929.
This corner is now occupied by the Alderway Building, built in 1929 by Fred Meyer. The buildings to the right and left are still in place.
