His Majesty’s Theatre 193 Queen Street, Brisbane, QLD - 1888

Brenda Koster writes - Her Majesty’s Opera House, Queen Street Brisbane opened in 1888 and was demolished in 1983. The photographer was Fred Harvey, who was sent from Aberdeen, Scotland by George Washington Wilson & Co which produced lantern slides, in this instance to create a chronicle of the Australian people, landscape and industries.
