“The Swordsman” alongside a cartoon and a newsreel was the grand opening attraction to the 44 Outdoor Theatre on July 15, 1949.
Robert L. Klein was the original manager of the theater, and indeed throughout the 44 Outdoor’s history until its September 15, 1984 closure, it was operated by Marcus Theatres.
