when the movie “Corvette Summer” played the Hollywood in 1978, a promotion with the local Corvette club resulted in a display of Corvettes outside the theater and included having a Corvette on display in the area where the 4 white chairs are located. the car was driven into the lobby, the front glass exit doors were removed to allow an extra 6 inches in clearance. Once inside the driver turned the car around to face the entrance. It was a tight fit and all started by a dare.. “bet you couldn’t get your ‘vette into the lobby”.
