The Colony Theatre opened in 1948 and had the typical squared front of the 1940’s. The theatre has a small triangle-shaped marquee with a free standing box office in front of the theatre to the right side.
Closing in the late 1970’s it was converted to a VFW hall which it remains the same today. The VFW still utilizes the marquee and the box office is still intact.

Great the VFW has kept this building (or at least the front of it) intact. I drove by this building once @ 2007 and I remember it looking as it does in the photo.
