The Goshen’s most innovative design was in its lobby where the rustic colonial style is apparent in a doff of the hat to Goshen’s famous Hamiltonian horse race. In the lobby are figures of horses and lighting fixtures one might see in a stable along with pine wainscoting for wall treatments gets the message across along with the rustic fireplace. Shown at opening March 10, 1939.
