This gem reminds me of the former Valencia on Jamaica Avenue. I passed by one day during the week and there was a church service going on but the auditorium was nearly empty. They might consider leasing the theatre for some days for added revenue.
Looks like this will be a wonderful place for viewing movies the way they were meant to be seen: on a big screen with great sound in a beautiful theatre. Beats the pants off seeing it on your iPhone… that’s for sure!
Hope they can put in a larger wide semi curved screen. A new stereo surround sound system will rock the place and they can hide the surround speakers in the side walls. Color LED lights are a must during the movie in dark Blue/Purple or Green. Put them also up in the organ temples on each side of the screen. Red/Orange/Yellow during a intermission. This is so great! I hope they get the $ to improve projection system and add a film set up!

Hope they can also get a 2K Digital Projector. Movies would look sharp and clear on a NEW TRUE SILVER SCREEN!!
