This is such a sad video in terms of showing the degradation of the drive-in. Since 2007, I started photographing free-standing landmarks whose days are numbered and that motivation began with the demolition of a local movie theater I used to frequent. Lots of lost memories. You have a well-documented video here.

I don’t live in Fla. but my heart is saddened by this video. I grew up in the late 70’s drive in era when cable tv and home video were driving the nails in to the drive in theater coffin. I pray that the good people in Lake Wales will come together and restore this beauty even if on a non for profit basis.
