I really thought this theater was demolished, but the latest Google Maps information makes it appear to still be nested there between the other businesses.

kpkiiburn2: This was definitely a platter location either way. Not to stray too far off topic 3 years later, but the Miller Theater restoration and Imperial Theater restoration both maintain the changeover booths in the back, but I don’t believe there is any equipment in either. Both locations just use a commercial projector like you’d use at a conference center or such when showing movies.

I drove right by this several times without realizing it was there. I was hoping to find a theater with the old changeover system still operational, but it seems there are none in this area. I was the projectionist for one in WV in 1987.

I was wondering if you have a contact number for the property owners? I have a business venture they may be interested in.

When I was stationed at Fort Gordon, I remember seeing several movies here. Off the top of my head I remember seeing the first Austin Powers, Con Air, and the 1997 Star Wars Trilogy re-releases.

The treatment on the front of the theatre looks like Super Saver / Silver ran the theatre at some point. Was this a Regal the entire time?

I believe it opened in 1991 because my Dad took my 12 year old sister to see Father of The Bride on a Father-Daughter date, and she said he laughed louder than anyone.

Once, in 1999, I went to see 10 Things I hate About You. I kept on giving the box office attendant a $ 10 bill he gave back. When I looked at it, I found out my Grandma (as a joke) had put a fake $ 10 bill in with my money to be funny. My Aunt came and paid for my ticket and I paid her back. She got on my Grandma- her Mom- for that. Good times.
