Cinemascope installed in the 1950’s I believe. A very large screen I recall. I saw many films here into the 1980’s. First run films always until it was closed.
Great vintage theatre and almost in the original condition. Original curtain had to be removed for cinemascope years ago. I have seen many a film here since the 1950’s and continue seeing them in 2015. Digital now and one of the longest runs in the country.

Yes was a very beautiful and dramatic street at one time and espcially at night. The Fox had the most dramatic marquee. Very art deco.

Like something out of a fantasy castle. Such a tragedy it was demolished.
