Love the one-sheets,{movie posters]I saved so many during my years in business during the seventies.Until I got there MOST were being tossed in the dumpster.
June 4 1981 and these big films are selling out.But remember these are small houses.“THE HOWLING” is staying another week along with a very weak Jerry Lewis movie,“HARDLY WORKING”,bet they did not have anything better to book. Coming next was that Horrible “LONE RANGER” film.and the DISNEY “DEVIL and MAX DEVILIN”.Hopefully,“SUPERMAN II” saved the summer.
It was A warner Brothers Theatre in the Thirties.Nov.8.1934 has JACK BENNY in"TRANSATLANTIC MERRY-Go-ROUND".Balcony was Thirty cents and the good seats were forty cents.Jan 5 1933 had the first TALKING MOVIE filmed in AFRICA called “CONGORILLA”.Playing at the Majestic.
I had a feeling it was probably gone, but didn’t want to add it on the header because there are so many of these theatres now being saved,if there is anything left to save.

THE BEATLES,One show daily.Must have drove the kids crazy, “HARD DAYS NIGHT” showing May 29-30 a Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 only.1965.
Jan 4 1968,“VALLEY OF THE DOLLS” is ending its run at the STRAND.
