We all look back at the gems.Those big beautiful Downtown theatres,Or a classy drive-in.but i am afraid there will come a day that all those twins and triples will be parking places.To me they are just as important as our “FOX’S” or “TAMPA’S”.We really need to go back to smaller theatres,but that will never happen.

Nov.19 1971 and "WUTHERING HEIGHTS” is showing.
Nov.4 1971 something called “THE AFRICAN ELEPHANT” plays.
Dec.1 1971 a great Western plays “WILD ROVERS”. Michael Caine in “THE LAST VALLEY” also plays in 1971.

yes, if you guys were running First Run you would think Loews would want decent seats,One thing about the Imperial,the seats were in good condition.We were lucky to have a Projectionist in Augusta who serviced all the Union Theatres fixing odds and ends for extra money,I bet a lot of cities had the same thing.
What did I tell you CHEAP ADMISSION ! And bet some locals complain about that.

June 5 1979 sees “GREASE” and a return Engagement of “YOUNG FRANKENSTIEN”.playing at the Twin.
“BEDNOBS AND BROOMSTICKS” had a successful run in a theatre that played a lot of DISNEY Films.
“FIREPOWER” “INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS” open the Summer of 1979.
