The building is called Haskell Free Library and Opera House(it has it’s own page on Wikipedia). The canada side of the building is in the town of Rock Island.

This place is similar to a public library in Vermont(the entrance is in Canada), seen on an episode of “How the states got their shapes. I forget the name of the town on the Vermont/Canada border.

This might be the same building known as the Mount Marshall Town Hall, opened on 30/7/1927. Movie screenings may have started in 1927? Movie screenings may have ended the Bencubbin Drive-in opened.

Located next to the Japanese Gardens. Screen size was 47 feet by 110 feet. There was also space for 300 walk in patrons. Operator was Cathay Organisation Private Limited. Ticket prices were $2.00 (Singapore)dollars(adults) and $1.00(Singapore)dollars(children 12 and under).
