well drive-in theater preservation society i hate that the sutton police wouldn’t allow the state police to direct traffic for free. ti’s rude and correct me if i’m wrong but isn’t that illegal. state police officers have more power than municipal police officers. also the raising of the price due to retail interest was a bunch of crap. they were doing that so it wouldn’t reopen.
was demolished in 2015 and a couple of businesses were built on the site. now there is no trace of the drive-in remaining except for the general shape sadly.
this may have been the shortest lived drive-in to open before the drive-in boom. also the person who owned this theater couldn’t have come up with a more unique name.
all the ramps are still there and the screen. the projectors booth and the snack bar. there are three portable trailers on the site of the drive-in that don’t belong their though
now called Regal Manchester Stadium 16
please update.
in the 1981 topo maps it still lists a drive-in theater where the starlite was. very very weird.
they show first run films. they also show classics at a discount price.
the website lists four movies coming soon and says not all movies shown below guaranteed to play at stuggart twin cinema.
found this newspaper article online about it turning 100 years old it’s curently 103!

screens are gone and it sure looks like it was a triplex drive-in theater
has since been renamed four brothers drive-in
well i would excpect it to have been a short lived drive-in if they could only park 150 cars and were to cheap to install in-car speakers.
some great pics can be found on this site!

the screen and ramps still remain. however the marquee, box-office projectors booth and concession stand are gone!
kinda reminds you of twister!
