Don,I try to submit Theatres and would love to add much more like you guys would,but sometimes you just don’t have the info.Getting the theatre is the big part hopefully CT members in that city will complete what you present.
Ken Roe,Here is a story for you from Boxoffice March 1993. On the roof of the Showcase Cinemas Derby, 500 ballons were released in the air.Some had free movie passes in them. Nearly Five weeks later the final ticket bearing balloon landed in BAD WURZACH,GERMANY.Some 600 miles from Derby.The tickets were sent back and donated them to a local children’s Hospital.The movie they were promoting? “HOME ALONE 2,LOST IN NEW YORK”.Can’t make this up!

J.B. sorry my 1956 motion picture almanac does not have a Jenkinsburg Drive-in.It had either closed or maybe wasn’t built yet.Hopefully some other CT guys can help.I am doing every Drive-in Georgia a few at a time. Only"J" was Jesup Family Drive-in.
Worst thing to happen to the real theatre and showmanship business.I can handle up to four screens,and really don’t like that.Why does a theatre have to be a “showcase for DVD product”.

All it is a two story office building.Hard to tell it was a theatre except for the stage area and Flyloft above,At the rear.
