I have seen theatres put into an existing Building the Weis Cinemas here in Augusta,Ga, were built that way, really they dressed it up nice, but still it felt cramped inside.

Double check, it parked 400 cars and was a Hanna Theatre Service Drive-in.
What did they show? 16mm.
