When Cineplex Odeon entered the USA, they kept the Plitt branding for a couple of years (even opening some new theatres under the Plitt branding). as of Cineplex of Texas, they went bankrupt in 1986 and the bankruptcy court asked Cinemark to manage the chain. Cinemark later took what’s left of Cineplex (Texas).
I believe the North Hills Center became the Wood Creek Center in the 1970s or 1980s. The address given for the North Hills Center was 2001 N. Fraizer, too small for a cinema.
