Thanks MSC77 for this before we had the theater added.
Fifty years ago today THE EXORCIST opened here. The Stage Door was among only two-dozen cinemas in twenty-one North American markets to play the film at release launch. (I do not see a separate database entry for the Stage Door, a conversion of the Fox’s stagehouse area. Earlier today I erroneously posted this comment on a page for another theater named Stage Door.)
And once again the a holes at AMC close another Carmike location. Why they bought the in the first place is ridiculous. If they went under it would be a good thing.
Regal webpage shows Regal Times Square. They took out the 13
Good point Ed Solero.
This is the second theater they did this at. There was a different story last night on WNT. AMC SUCKS.

Why would it be a distortion it is the last single screen theater left.
So why did UA quad it than close it 2 years later? SMH
Is this the new RPX screen?

What is there now?
Great size screen
Archie If they are putting food in they probably need 2 of the theaters for kitchens.
OMG Thank you Al.
I was there twice.
I went to the Hollywood Reporter page and did not find it
I cannot get the link to open. Are they reopening as a first ruyn theater or still Netflix only premieres.
Very different RPX screen. I love it. Looks like they have masking too
Wow this is a different version of and RPX screen. I love it.
I saw The Poseidon Adventure there
Wow it was $7.00 at one time. Also, how can they know if someone is bringing in food.
I hope they will also show movies.
They showed films in the summer of 69 before reopening as a Broadway house in 70 with Applause.
Has there been any reopening date?
I would love to see this reopen as a theater.
Did they put regular seats back?
Hopefully the chain that reopened the Ventnor and is now working on the Moorlyn in Ocean City will reopen this theater.
