The only record that I have come across on the theatre to date is one regarding renovations and changes to the structure in 1950. I think that these were probably upgrades to the theatre rather than reconfiguring the building for another purpose. The Paramount was listed as late as 1968 in the IMPA.
Here is a photo of the former Powder Springs Cinema from December 2005. The rectangular columns running horizontally across the front were speaker chambers for the interior auditoria.
Here is a photo from January 2006 of the Lamar looking the best it has in years. There has been some discussion about converting into a recording studio. Great to see some effort is being made to restore at least the exterior.
My only visit to this theatre was after it was converted into a kid’s gym. The entire main floor had been totally gutted. According to one of the gyms staffers, the balcony area was still intact although not accessible from the gym. I am a bit confused as to how the Bellaire was configured as five screen multiplex. Assuming that the main auditorium remained intact was the balcony split into four screens or was another auditorium added on? Are there any interior photos of the theatre available for viewing?
The Hollywood was located at 2469 Chelsea Avenue. The structure that currently resides at 616 Chelsea is listed as being built around 1933 and is zoned commercial. I currently don’t know the status of this property or if any remnant of the Avon/Chelsea is still apparent.
The former Normal Theatre building is still standing on Highland readily identifiable by its box office and marquee. The theatre is now part of Gill’s Bar & Grill and includes a shadowbox from the Loew’s State Theatre.
Here are a couple of photos from 2006 of the Luciann Theater.

Very well could be. Am still investigating. Although it is a “Classic” I don’t think that was its initial name.
