Bob, I remember the Planet of the Apes marquee. That must have been the last film that was shown. I think the space is still a vacant lot, but last time I was in town the Rialto bar was still next door.
The last film shown was Heaven Can Wait in November 1979.

That’s true. I wasn’t sure if that comment had been posted when you added the theater.
A comment on the above site from November 2004 states that the building has been demolished.
