It never bother me when I buy a large popcorn in a local AMC theatres located in Bay Plaza shopping center the only thing I sneak in is the outside drinks with my book bag.If I go to another movie theater like 161st Street Movie theaters and Whitestone cinema they be checking every people bag except AMC and Regal. There is a strict usher checked my bags at 161st Street movie theater they kicked me out for sneaking in an AMC popcorn bag then i went to the whitestone cinema to see a r rated movie they this mean lady said I not allowed in the projection booth so the boss kicked me out so I took a cab to AMC in Bay Plaza,pay my tickets, buy a large popcorn and go to the theaters
Bow tie cinemas did installing Sony 4k digital projectors, braco digital projectors and Christie digital projectors to replaced the 35mm film projectors in their theaters .About 6 years ago Clearview cinemas was gonna brought the Loews American Theaters in the Bronx to make the guest to happy but no Clearview cinemas screw up so the Bow Tie cinemas brought opened their theater so that the guest will be happy to see a movie in the community. In 2008 Bow tie cinemas took over the Loews American Theater in the Bronx but Bow tie cinemas closed their theater in Parkchester because their theater wasn’t convert into a digital projection.My uncle went to this theater when it was owned by United Artist in 1997 and now it’s not fair to see Bow Tie Cinemas couldn’t be more like AMC, Cinemark, Carmike, National Amusements and Rave motion pictures theaters honesty if the only way I could talk to AMC to covert this theater is to an 18 screens stadium style seating theater instead of seeing this theater turn into an bank,pharmacy,TJ maxx, and school building.
Yes I “ve seen their IMAX presentation at the AMC Lincoln Square IMAX every since they switched from 15/70mm in the late spring to the early summer .The Movie I saw was the the Amazing spiderman 2 which they was using the 15/70mm print of The Amazing spiderman 2 on the big screen
I used to work in this theater as a usher during the summer youth program 2012 and I did gave the people 3D glasses.The AMC asked my old high school to asked me to work for them and my job was greeting the guess when they entering the theaters .By next year I hope the AMC come to my old high school to ask the student to work for them
I hate to see this theater is gonna be demolish I should let the AMC brought this theater in 5 years but no my family make me move back to NYC to watch the Amboy Multiplex Cinemas to demolish .I remember my grandma to take me and my girlfriend to this theater to see mouse hunt 1997 bring back memberies and when I turned 15 I stopped by this theater to take pictures of the theater and I drew a picture of this theaters
I did saw the amazing spiderman 2 and godzilla in IMAX but I remember they playing movie with laser IMAX digital projector and I noticed about the amazing spiderman 2 and godzilla was playing in 15/70mm film projector every since I was on line buying large popcorn and the hole people waiting for the movie ti start at Lincoln Square in the late may and the early june
