Correction: The Princess Gift Shop was the small storefront to the right of this theatre building.I just remembered that a Pin and Shaver shop was located in this space during my days there,it later moved the the historic Arcade about a block north of this location.The bookstore was located next door called “Cokesbury” also next to it was a “Hallmark” card store which was located on 5th Ave which was located earlier on 5th Ave,next to the 5th,Ave Theatre which has its own page on C.T.
Thanks LuisV,I understand ,not everbody has the love of old theatres as we do,but we can not save them all.I was just making the point that of all the posts on this theatre that someone could do something.But if the theatre is in a bad neighborhood it will never happen.I hope the the Loews Kings thing will work only time will tell.And the hidden Loews Canal maybe will make a comeback.Have a great day.

The header on this theatre is still uncorrect,Loews closed this theatre in 1982 not 1972 as listed.
