The old Liberty theatre opened on March 15th, 1920 and the new Liberty theatre opened on July 24th, 1924 and closed in January 1982 when the Queen twin cinemas reopened. Grand opening ad posted.

This opened on July 29th, 1988 as the largest cinema in Canada. It was renamed City Centre in 2001. Owners were Cineplex Odeon in 1988, Empire Theatres in 2005, Landmark Theatres in 2013 and Kinepolis in 2017 (Keeping the Landmark brand name in Canada). This opened as the Millwoods Drive-In theatre on August 11th, 1971 and closed by Cineplex Odeon at the end of the 1994 season. On June 30th, 1995 it reopened by Landmark Cinema as the Stardust Twin Drive-In and closed at the end of the 1997 season ending drive-in cinemagoing in the Edmonton area. Grand opening ads posted.

This opened on May 17th, 1996 by Cinemark Theatres. This theatre has the same design as Movies 12 in Laredo, TX. Still wearing the old Cinemark logo in neon.
