The LA city directory lists the Wonderland Theater at 315 S. Main. Have we placed any theaters on the west side of Main between 3rd and 4th other than the Follies? If not I will add the Wonderland.
The 1967 LA city directory advertised the Optic as open from 9 am to 6 am. I guess they needed a few hours to clean up. Call 623-6434 for shows and times.
I have a disk with copies of some Davis Cone paintings (Popcorn Palace), in black and white, unfortunately. I also have some photos from Michael Putnam’s book. I e-mailed management to see what the rules are on posting these, but if any CT denizen can give me the info I would appreciate it.
According to the East Berlin News Comet, edition of 3/31/50, the following local businesses offered best wishes to Bill Snyder and the Dillsburg theater on its grand opening. It appears that the Dillsburg Meat Market opened on the same date as congrats were offered to both:
