As stated above this was a temporary drive-in during covid, setup in the car park of the Foxwoods Resort Casino. It had 103 car spots, they used an inflatable screen.
OK, it appears there was either two drive-in’s in this town or the Mesa was moved up the road. The Mesa does not exist at this address in a 1958 aerial photo HOWEVER, a smaller drive-in DOES exist at the current address of 2700 Lincoln St. The remains of this drive-in also exist in a 1969 when the “new” Mesa has been constructed.
You know what Michael, I just took a look and you are correct, an old 1954 topo shows there was a drive-in at the current address of 21 Millville Road, so there were absolutely two different sites in this town.
They apparently charge $20 for a “food permit” if you bring in outside food, which I kind of understand since these places literally only make money from concessions but $20 seems kind of steep.
I find it hilarious that in the latest street view the old marquee still says “closed for the season” despite the pool being filled in and the site is clearly being used for a trucking/construction company. Also directly opposite the marquee on the other side of the road a resident still proudly displays his Trump banner, LOL.
According to this article: http://www.thesylvaherald.com/history/article_448db73e-cbc9-11ec-86b1-bb2a0d52ecd3.html It was located near the Budweiser plant. There is a bit of open land in the area where it could’ve been but its still too hard to tell, certainly no signs of an airstrip.
According to their website: https://goldtownnick.com/location/drive-in/
Their current location is at Egan Drive & Whittier Street, Juneau. They also seem to only screen arthouse films?
A close address for the one is Metternichstraße 2, 44867 Bochum. It looks like its still a vacant lot with the faint outline of the drive-in still remaining.
Some more notes about this historic theatre, it burned down in October 1938 but was quickly rebuilt and reopened in December that same year. The world premier of the Nick Cave film “The Proposition” (that was shot in locations close to Winton) was screened there in 2005 as well.
Original owner was F.Brook - his name on the front facade of the building with the year of construction. Ownership history:
F. Brook 1934-37
A.G. McGowen 1937-39
G.H. Towart 1939-41
F. Brook 1941-71
Finally after Brook passed away the theatre was sold to Allan Dohnt who operated it until closure in 1983/84.

There’s now a street address for this one on Google Maps, so please update to 161432 US-81, Marlow, OK.

This location actually only has 2 screens, their website also confirms this. The “3rd screen” is actually just a wall or advertising board.
Grand opening was actually May 20th, it was advertised the day before but the actual opening was on the 20th.
What’s left of the ticket box still remains as of July this year.
The last movies might’ve been Cliffhanger and Guilty as Sin.
The number is way off, its actually 2700.

The West is still visible in a 1981 aerial photo but it’s hard to say if it was open.
Apparently closed on May 29 1977.
The approximate opening date for this was actually May 3 1951.
Opened on July 19 1949 and closed in the fall of 1975. Apparently operated by Western Theatres Ltd.
The land is currently for sale, and looks like it has been for a while.

The land was redeveloped into a housing estate in 2018.
Its being replaced with Mission and Ramona Business Park, which will be a mix of industrial buildings and warehouses.

Historical aerial images seem to show the second(?) screen actually stood until the late 90’s.
