a “Parking Palace” opened on Piedmont Road 6 miles out of Atlanta on September 29th, 1936. Is this the same drive-in? If so, then this was the 2nd drive-in in the area.
This opened in May 1950 at 2217 Rowesville Road and closed in 1987. Adult movies 1973-1987. I was able to confirm the location after I saw the Bon-Air grand opening ad. There was a very short-lived called the Azalea Drive-In opened in 1955 only.
