Cineplex already has the South Keys, Bayshore (Coliseum), and Gloucester (SilverCity) sites. So why bother picking up this theatre again and renovate it.
To add Mike again, the newer SilverCity in CrossIron Mills that opened in 2010 has taken over its role once held by Country Hills. This time, the building aesthetics has a look of a Cineplex Odeon.
To add hdtv267: Queensway is spliced into 15 screens/auditoriums. The last 3 auditoriums were lost into the VIP Cinemas with the newer two VIP theatres added. Total screens is 20 (15 regular + 5 VIP).
Taken over by Cineplex since 2005, it lists now 10 screens.
This theatre should be listed as open (showing movies) and it has 9 screens. It is now operated by Cineplex since December 2008.

To add what Mike Rivest said, this one along with the other Coliseums and all Colossuses will be transitioning to Cineplex Cinemas Scarborough.
