Across the street from the old Mays dept store..Looked like Retail space..In front of the church..it was a carpet store and may well still be.

Centurys domination in Huntington was all on New York ave.This may be the oldest of the century house in huntington ..(if not it was the Huntington)This was the first of the Century theaters to close..
Century theaters Huntington …all on ny ave at one time or another.

This might be the oldest theater in operation on LONGISLAND…Cant think of any older ……Anyone?This theater could be from about 1930…. I say that because when i saw a movie here in late 80s floors were all wood ….All wood floors were used only early on,on longisland….

A very hip theater that has made its mark on longisland……..Never new it as anything other than New Community ….Thats what the local still call it…….Located in the old village green school in Huntington……….A must see for art film lovers………
