I plan on seeing hobbit in Imax 3d and also mockingjay soon. I’m sure amc will pull the interview posters from the theater. I was so looking forward to seeing this but it looks like ill rent it on bluray.
Seems that like other Bowtie theatres, this one has all digital projection on all screens….i remember when they projected film they were top notch in the area….
Just came back from seeing Big Hero 6 in 2D at the real D auditorium. Very good movie. Stay until after the credits for a bonus scene. Seems that this theater is empty on non peak hours even if the entire mall is busy due to the holidays. Work is still being done for Five Guys near the parking lot of the theater. No word on when it will open but there will be more dinner choices after the movies in addition to Qdoba, Maggie Moo’s, and of couse my favorite Panera bread.
The reason this place is popular is that they have exclusive engagements of big movies before their nationwide release. Almost every major motion picture since 1994 has been played at this theater to sold out crowds despite the high ticket prices, with the IMAX theater the real deal. I wonder if they’ll have 70mm projection for Quentin’s new movie The Hateful Eight when it opens next year.
On the bluray release they have DTS 5.1 MA. They also have 23 minutes of deleted scenes that look terrible according to the review of the bluray as well as promotional and making of stuff.
Happy belated 20th anniversary to this theater!!! The teaser trailer for the Star Wars movie was shown in 3D, 2D, and imax 2d. The imax trailer ends with the millenium falcon flying against the backdrop of tie fighters, full screen style. That footage was shot on real 70mm IMAX film.
This theater will be one of 30 that will show the new star wars teaser this weekend before its global release next month. Interstellar had a 35mm release here a few weeks ago.
How was the mad max trailer in 3d?
Will this theater show the new Star wars movie in 3d?
How was hobbit 3d did they show the star wars trailer in 3d?
The red carpet premiere of the interview which was supposed to be here was canceled due to political issues surrounding Sony and North Korea.

The Interview won’t be playing here anytime soon….

The gym is now open as i saw a commercial for it on tv….the gym is quite small compared to the one that replaced the route 4 tenplex years ago.
I haven’t been right by it since going to high school in ridgefield. Is it worth the drive?
As this theater is long gone, the ridgefield park megaplex will survive in the near future
http://www.kansascity.com/news/business/technology/article4512995.html wonder if it’s coming here…
imax screen now open with hobbit marathon.

advance tickets now on sale for several December movies, including a 9 hour Hobbit marathon in Imax 3D.
Yup. Does this theater still have SDDS equipment as well as 35mm from opening day? Also dts and dolby 5.1.
The Hunger games mockingjay is playing at this theater. I’d like to see the new star wars at this theater next year in 3d lol.
