Nice looking theatre,Lost. No big fanfare in the Houston papers, strange.that is usually a community event when a theatre opens in an area.

What do mean the over 50 crowd hates stadium seating, remember GCC’s famous seats, you would get paralyzed butt after after 20 minutes.I hated them and i worked for them in two different cities, same blasted seats.

Yep,your moviegoing age is 14 to 24 was the same thing in the seventies, only then we didn’t all these blasted popcorn box sized viewing rooms under one roof and if you couldn’t behave you got tossed out.today,Cops have to play doormen and usher,Sad state of affairs for the theatre business.

It was told to me that the above post is why he left and I was expecting more than that,He seems like a Journalist to me;should have thicker skin.I know I would miss all the great things you get on,The pictures, most of all and I read disagreements you have sometimes with Certain CT folks, but you don’t say to heck with it.I wish that Almanac i had had the addresses on all the Drive-ins i submit.I would love to have all the info when I submit a theatre, one reason why I have slacked off with the Drive-ins because more than one CT member has mentioned Me not putting the Address on.Sometimes, some of old theatre managers and doormen will start rapping about the old days of the theatre business I think that personal stories on the business is more important than architects.

Remake of “Arthur” how can do this to a classic comedy,Hopefully folks will stay away in droves,But the under 30 crowd i am sure will think it is the greatest thing.I wish they would quit remaking great films.I heard the “DIRTY DOZEN” was set for a remake.
