Sully was excellent n imax laser. Love the 12 channels of sound. Saw it at AMC Universal in LA. Also the sound and picture great at TLC Chinese. Cant wait for Lincoln Square Imax Laser
The Prime auditorium lost 400 seats. That used to be the biggest auditorium, but when it was ETX/Dolby Atmos They must had trouble selling it out due to know one wanted to pay $20. to see the film
I’m disappointed with the upgrade, but still seeing IMAX their because its slightly bigger than downtown. The RPX is a ripoff at EWALK, the screen is not as big as the AMC ETX/NOW PRIME EMPIRE.
Also, the basement projection is poor. I flat film is letterbox top and left and right. When they went to 4K in 10-12, the screen doesn’t project as big. That’s strange.
The IMAX in theatre 7 is smaller then the Dolby Cinema at AMC Prime Screen 6 at the AMC Empire. It’s embarrasing to see IMAX on a screen smaller then a regular screen.
When I use to use to live out their, the Lynbrook was my least favorite. The sound system was mostly mono until 2000. The got DTS sound in only two screens late. The seats were uncomfortable and if it was crowded, mainly late 80’s and early 90’s. Peoples heads block my view of the film. I always like the Fantasy when it was renovated in 1989. The only thing I don’t live their anymore, so I can’t take advantage of the recliner seats. Saw it once.
When the theatre reopens in 2016, it going to get busy like Fresh Meadows because they will the lazy boy recliner seats. With 13 screens and less seats, most auditorium probably only seat 100 people.
Guess the AMC Fantasy will show Star Wars. That’s a first. The last Stars Film Return of the Jedi played in Rockville Centre. Guess Malverne might be showing some first run films also while Lynbrook is closed.
After IMAX, take Dolby Cinema at AMC, it’s better than Regal.. Very rarely go to RPX

It was confirmed by ,a,m,c. Empire starting sep 2 reserved seating
AMC is starting soon reserved seating in all screens with regular seats.
Going to the movies is better than at home. Don’t miss film hearing the sound of the projector, scratches
It looks like Ill see Sully and The Magificent Seven on vacation in imax lasser in Hollywood
According to the theatre today, the IMAX theatre will be closed until November

according to a AMC manager. Kips Bay is next for reliners. He said the 19th Street won’t get it do to the building being old
The only problem I found if someone a few rows don’t relcine, and I recline, heads get in the way. The slope should of been done better.
Still no 3d in DOLBY CINEMA AT AMC PRIME
fandango puts the screen number 1 is loews 2 is kings. 11 to 12 is the basement
Starting January 11. the theatre is finally getting renovated. That why Malverne is showing The Ravenant
The Hateful Eight is in theatre 2 in 70MM. Star wArs is in theatre 1 loews in real3d dolby atmos

Can’t wait for lesser.
AMC Empire 25 Dolby Prime will be 2D, they said that Dolby 3D has to be installed, it dosen’t work with Real 3D
The latest from AMC, IMAX LASER at the end of January. The reason they don’t own the building, they have to get clearance when they do construction.
AMC put IMAX laser at their Universal CitywLk 17 in Hollywood first
It supposed to get Laser soon. I saw Everest at the AMC Georgetown in IMAX. The IMAX screen was smaller than Dolby Cinema at AMC Prime Empire 25.
The IMAX in theatre 7 is smaller then the Dolby Cinema at AMC Prime Screen 6 at the AMC Empire. It’s embarrasing to see IMAX on a screen smaller then a regular screen.
Loews screen 1

Regal is building a new theatre according to the web site. Originally UA was going to replace the complex in the 90s. Never happened
It happened when the Fantasy was closed for their renovation
Guess the AMC Fantasy will show Star Wars. That’s a first. The last Stars Film Return of the Jedi played in Rockville Centre. Guess Malverne might be showing some first run films also while Lynbrook is closed.
