Construction has begun on the auditorium as it will now be used for concerts and church services.Coffee shop is open and old balcony is now seperate from the auditorium and renovated.

i love this theater and its set up , it does need a make over but i think this house could be a break even house. Anyone going into a single or twin in 2006 should no that breaking even is the best you can hope for.

the district office was in the 34th st east in the late 80s for cineplex odeon as was the Biograph booking dept.

if you love movies you must go to the ZIEGFELD……People on this site always bash it as not a grand palace wich it is not …..but it is the best theater left in NYC.
