just got a call from my cousin Ray, seems the Hendersonville Police called him to inform him a large tarp was reported blowing off the roof. Now Ray had been gone for years and the place as been closed for years,He had no idea how they ended up calling him, I figured one of the cops must have remembered him as manager.Well, it wasn’t a tarp, but a whole section of the rubber roof coating flapping in the wind.. the landlord told Ray they will probably tear old four plex down,,,soon.

the third screen was up on a hill, looked liked several pieces of plywood nailed together, what a sad joke.

DId we ever find out about the second DRive -in a local there told me they had two Drive-ins.
HEARD THERE WAS another drive in in GREENWOOD from a local, HWY 25 Drive in.
AT least AUGUSTA was smart enough to save three downtown theatres….OUR IMPERIAL lives with shows….
two pretty good films, pity it had to be twinned…
