The Flat Rock Cinema is owned and operated by Howard Molton. It is a dinner theatre, initially showing 35mm movies. This cinema was the Skyland Arts Theatre in Hendersonville, but was moved just down the road.
In 2013, the Flat Rock Cinema were hoping to get a grant for conversion to digital, and a few fundraisers were held, but the grant never came through and instead the fundraising money was used to secure a loan to purchase a digital projector. Since going digital, business is booming!

Mikeoaklandpark – We didn’t receive a grant. Through fundraising, we collected about $7,000 for a down payment on a loan from Entegra (Macon) Bank.
