For Google Maps, the address is PA-247 and Wagner Blvd, Greenfield Township, PA. The drive-in sat on the SE side of the intersection.

Today, a private home sits on the north end of the property, but the rest is overgrown and marked by trails.

A street view shows what may be the remnants of the ticket booth. In addition, what’s left of the projection booth/concession stand also remains. http://tinyurl.com/y8jm27fm

A closer address is US Route 212 and 312 Ave, Gettysburg, SD 57442. The drive-in sat just to the east where the house exist today.

The drive-in was still there in 1997, but by 2004 had been demolished. Today, there is no trace of the drive-in remaining, although the driveway is close to where the exit road for the drive-in existed. http://tinyurl.com/y9vd4ewo

About ½ mile to the west of Parsons Drive-In, sitting on the south side of Main Street on Queens Rd looks the remnants of a drive-in. A 1958 aerial shows the outline and ramps, but no screen or projection booth/concession stand.

Today, the ramps and outline are still present and what appears to be the foundation for the screen. However, there is no indication that this drive-in ever opened or that it was even completed.

Does anyone have any information about this drive-in, assuming it ever opened?

Found It!

The address is approximately 12328 OH-104, Waverly, OH 45690 located on the SW side of the town.

Today, it is mostly an open field sitting just to the west of the Adena Health Clinic with no trace of the drive-in remaining. http://tinyurl.com/yckjosdb

Found It!

The address (at least for Google) is approximately 1199 Howard Road, Waverly, OH. The drive-in sat just a little to the north on the west side of the road.

Today, it is private property with the only indication left that it was a drive-in the entrance & exit roads along with the general outline that surrounds the house. http://tinyurl.com/ya43nsde

An even closer address is 1950N and Colt Road, Carlinville, IL. The drive-in sits on the north side of the intersection.

A little work on the screen, some mowing, and a new projector and it appears this drive-in could be re-opened even after all these years. http://tinyurl.com/mygbpwk

A closer address (at least for Google) is 2118 Fair Rd, Abilene, KS.

Today, it is private property with a home and a few buildings on the site.

There is no trace of the drive-in remaining save for the concession stand/projection booth which is still intact. It is the building that sits at a SW/NE angle with a black roof on the property. http://tinyurl.com/my49etg

A closer address (at least for Google) is 800 27th Ave, Dodge City, KS which puts it on the property where the drive-in once stood. It’s certainly not the original address, but that does not exist anymore. So, for mapping accuracy purposes, this address works just fine.

A trailer park occupies most of where the drive-in once stood. Today, there is no trace of the drive-in remaining. http://tinyurl.com/kv3eh64

It appears that the base of the horizontal part of the marquee (the part that held up the “theater” lettering) is still standing.

What can be said is that the information in the description does not appear to be accurate or complete. I cannot say what is true or not (which is why I included the word “seems” in my previous post), But I can say that the current location of the Exmore Drive-In did not exist before 1967.

It is in the Choctaw territory, so that’s probably why.

A closer address is 11490 Oakland Dr, Exmore, VA. You can still see remnants of the screen and marquee, but the ramps have disappeared as the location is now private property. http://tinyurl.com/l2tgdgu

However, this drive-in does NOT appear in a 1967 aerial photo as the land remains undeveloped. In the same photo, you can see the partial remains of a drive-in approximately ¼ mile to the northwest being swallowed by the new construction of the Langford HWY. It’s address today is 4376 Lankford Hwy, Exmore, VA with the NMA Bank and another building sitting on the property. http://tinyurl.com/mwytgn4

It seems that the highway construction forced the closure of the drive-in and a new one was built a short distance away.

This may be the oldest visible remains of any drive-in in the US. Closed in 1954, you can still see the outline and ramps over 60 years later.

The 1978 aerial shows the ramps and outline, but the screen and concession stand are gone. Apparently, it was demolished well before the property had new construction.
