The Star-Lite Drive-In was opened May 31, 1949. Car capacity was listed at 381 and it was operated by Lake Edwards. The drive-in closed in 1957.

This opened on May 31st, 1949. Grand opening ad in the photo section.

I’m not sure if we have the right theater here. Historic Aerials from 1952 show NO drive-ins at that location. A 1957 Historic Aerial shows a total of TWO drive-ins side by side. One of them is definitely the South Twin Drive-In. By 1968 the single screen drive-in looks like it had been closed for a while while the twin is still going.
I believe I’ve figured this one out.
To the east of the South Twin located at 3603 Clarks River Rd Paducah, Kentucky was another drive in. From the historic aerial photos, it was built and operational by 1952. By 1957, it was twinned.
By the 1981 aerial, the drive-in appears to be closed, but at least one screen is still standing. However, the best proof that this is the Starlite is that the entrance road is now named Starlite Drive. So, I believe this is the Starlite Drive-In.
Today, a business sits on the property and there is no indication of the drive-in visible.
